At Luna's Kozy Critter Cottage, we pride ourselves on providing excellent, compassionate pet care boarding services in and around Billings, Montana. We understand the importance of providing your pet with a cozy and safe experience while you are away. Our goal is to provide personalized dedicated care in a safe, low-stress environment for your fur-baby. We know that boarding can be stressful for both owner and pup and work hard to eliminate the anxiety for both!  We strive to provide the highest-quality pet care services to all of our clients.

My name is Luna but my mom calls me "big baby Luna-Bear". I am a Great Pyrenees and I am 6 years old. I had a good life before I met my mom. I spent my days comforting my human as a service dog until he had to go to heaven. 

I met my mom when she came to the shelter looking for someone else. I knew as soon as I saw her she needed me and I needed her! I begged for her to come to my cage. She reached through the bars and I nuzzled her hand. She smelled nice. 

She took me to her home where I met my brothers, Rusty (Pomeranian/Yorkie), Putz (cat), AJ (cat) and my two human siblings Abby and Arie. They are all so great and I am so happy to have a warm loving home again!

Now I get to share my loving home with all of my puppy friends while their parents are away. Its super fun like a sleepover every night! It brings me joy and I am learning to play, as my service dog training was very serious and important business! 

I love meeting new people and dogs and I am the best "Nanny" dog anyone could ever want! 

 

My name is Lisa and I'm a pet sitter! I was born and raised on a ranch in Eastern Montana. I have taken care of animals my entire life and can't remember a span of time when I didn't have a dog by my side. I have worked in the medical field for 20 plus years taking care of humans, but my passion is taking care of fur-babies! I still work at the hospital and board dogs full time as well. I strive to provide low stress environment for pups who may get overwhelmed and anxious in larger boarding facilities. I try not to take more than four pups at a time to ensure personalized care and attention. I have a large back yard surrounded by a six-foot solid wooden privacy fence with only 1/4" space between planks. Pups staying with me are provided with a doggy door for continuous indoor/outdoor access from heated mud room to grassy backyard. I have three cameras installed strategically to ensure eyes on pups at all times and allows me to "check in" and talk to them while I am at my hospital job.  Safety comes first and I always evaluate temperaments and energy levels before letting dogs from different families interact with each other. Dogs are always fed separately and water bowls cleaned and disinfected daily.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring for my dog's stay?

If you are boarding your fur-baby at Luna's Kozy Critter Cottage be sure to pack their food and water bowls, supliments and/or medications and food for your pup. Any preferred snacks are optional but I will have plenty of selection on hand! I ask that owner provide written feeding/medication instructions, as well as commands known and specific pet characteristics. (i.e. are they allowed on the bed!) etc!  :)

What type of animals do you provide services for?

We provide boarding serivces for all dogs. Here at Luna's Kozy Critter Cottage safety is the number one priority. I ask that all potential clients schedule a "Meet and Great" to allow them and their pups to visit the premisis and meet my dogs and I. This gives me and the owner an idea of how personalities go together and ultimately if it is a good fit for your pup. I do not take dogs that are known to dig under fences, are capable of jumping 6 foot fences, or are a known flight risk.
